Assessment of children

Determining the child’s health, psychomotor / mental and emotional condition, and any problems related to pedagogy and speech pathology.

Assessment of the family situation, and the potential of family for growth. The purpose of the assessment:  identification of appropriate family-oriented care for the child, and supporting measures and services.
The children are assessed by a team of experts, and their expert opinion is submitted to the Center for Social Care.

Organization of children’s lives

The children live in groups of 5 – 6 children per space. They are under care of three caretakers (preschool educators or nurses).

The schedule of their daily activities serves to create optimal conditions to meet individual needs of the child: physical activity and outdoor activity, quality nutrition, preschool program activities, individual therapeutic procedures, meetings and socializing with the family, volunteers and friends, play and leisure activities.
